The USGA today announced that the 31st U.S. Women’s Mid-Amateur Championship, scheduled to be played Oct. 7-12 at Quail Creek Country Club in Naples, Fla., will be postponed due to the impact of Hurricane Irma.

The USGA and The R&A have received comments on the proposed new Rules from more than 22,000 golfers in 102 countries, as well as representatives of golf organizations throughout the world, providing valuable feedback as the organizations work toward their implementation on Jan. 1, 2019.

Sep 1, 2017Club awarded its third USGA championship, first U.S. Women’s Mid-Amateur
Berkeley Hall Club, in Bluffton, S.C., has been selected by the United States Golf Association (USGA) as the host site of the 2020 U.S. Women’s Mid-Amateur Championship. Scheduled for Aug. 29-Sept. 3, the 34th U.S. Women’s Mid-Amateur will be the club’s third USGA championship and first since hosting both the Men’s and Women’s USGA State Team Championships in 2005.
