According to local authorities, a commercial blimp not affiliated with the USGA or the U.S. Open Championship broadcast crashed in an open field approximately a half mile from the Erin Hills golf course at approximately 11:15 a.m. CDT.

Phil Mickelson has withdrawn from the 2017 U.S. Open Championship on Thursday, June 15 because of a previously scheduled family commitment.

Beginning today, fans can purchase tickets for the 2018 U.S. Open Championship at Shinnecock Hills Golf Club in Southampton, N.Y., marking the official worldwide release of online gallery and premium package sales, at usga.org/tickets.

One additional player has earned a full exemption into the 117th U.S. Open Championship, to be contested June 15-18 at Erin Hills, bringing the number of fully exempt players to 78. Additionally, five alternates from sectional qualifying were added to complete the 156-player field.

The USGA is providing fans with a variety of touchpoints to experience the championship and all it has to offer, whether they are on the go, watching at home or enjoying the action live at Erin Hills.

Tee times announced for the first two rounds of the 2017 U.S. Open Championship, Thursday (June 15) and Friday (June 16), at 7,741-yard, par-72 Erin Hills.

RYAN MOORE, of Las Vegas, Nev., has withdrawn from the 2017 U.S. Open Championship on Thursday, June 8 because of an injury.

The 117th U.S. Open Championship is coming to Erin Hills in Erin, Wis., and the USGA is offering a robust calendar of on-site activities for fans of all ages.

The RED Lot has been moved to the Washington County Fair Park in West Bend, Wis., for those traveling from the north and via I-41/US 45. More than 20 trail signs have been updated, and local and regional traffic and transportation officials will direct fans safely and efficiently to the new parking location.

The U.S. Open Main Merchandise pavilion at Erin Hills will be open to the general public for pre-championship shopping from Thursday, June 8 through Sunday, June 11 (10 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily). Tickets are not required to access the Main Merchandise pavilion during these four days.
