The USGA Golf Museum: Your Resource for Golf History
Since the 1930s, the USGA has honored the game of golf by curating the world's most comprehensive archive of golf artifacts. The USGA Golf Museum is currently located on the USGA campus in Far Hills, New Jersey, and is open to media, visitors and those who wish to study or learn more about the game of golf. It also houses one of the most complete archives of historic golf photography, videography and library materials in the world, including more than 20,000 periodicals, artifacts, drawings, golf art and more.
The history of the game unfolds in the carefully designed museum, with specific rooms dedicated to Bob Jones, Ben Hogan, Mickey Wright, Arnold Palmer and Jack Nicklaus. The Hall of Champions displays the names of every player that won a USGA Championship, beginning in 1895, and the artifacts tell a rich history of how the game and its players have evolved.

Visit the Museum
The USGA Museum is located at 77 Liberty Corner Road, Far Hills, N.J. 07931, near the intersection of Interstate 78 and Interstate 287. The Museum is a 30-minute drive from Newark Liberty International Airport and approximately one hour from New York City.
Hours of Operation
The USGA Museum is open Tuesday through Sunday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. We are closed on Mondays and major holidays (New Year’s Eve & New Year’s Day, Easter, 4th of July, Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve & Christmas Day). We are also sometimes closed during normal business hours for special events and/or severe weather or other emergencies. Please contact the Museum ahead of time to ensure that the facility will be open during the time you plan to visit.
