DAILY CHAMPIONSHIP RESOURCES

Practice rounds will take place Aug. 12 and 13. The field of 312 players will play two rounds of stroke play, one round on each of the two qualifying courses, with the 64 low scorers advancing to match play. The schedule is as follows:

Monday, Aug. 14: First round, stroke play 
Tuesday, Aug. 15: Second round, stroke play

ROBBY FUNK has withdrawn from the 2017 U.S. Amateur Championship on Tuesday, August 15 because of a medical issue. Funk, 54, who was exempt as the low amateur in the 2017 U.S. Senior Open, shot 86 in the first round of stroke play at The Riviera Country Club on Monday. A recurrence of previous injuries will not allow him to continue to play.

CHRISTOPHER CRAWFORD was disqualified from the 117th U.S. Amateur Championship on Tuesday, Aug. 15, for multiple uses of a distance-measuring device with the slope feature activated by his caddie. This action is in violation of Rule 14-3. Crawford shot 3-over-par 73 in the first round at Riviera.

Wednesday, Aug. 16: First round, match play
Thursday, Aug. 17: Second and third rounds, match play
Friday, Aug. 18: Quarterfinal round, match play
Saturday, Aug. 19: Semifinal round, match play
Sunday, Aug. 20: Championship match (36 holes)
